We loved every second of our holiday here!Rupert and Franck have created a slice of paradise at Le Mas. The house has been beautifully restored in superb taste and is maintained to a very high standard. At the end of a country lane curving through forest and field, a cluster of 16th-century farm buildings has been transformed into a luxurious retreat by Rupert and Franck who live in the former tobacco barn nearby. The pool is large and there are lots of games for adults and children to enjoy. The location is stunningly beautiful and provides complete tranquility (apart from birdsong), the property has been beautifully restored and provides every modern convenience as well as lots of lovely extras (welcome treats were hugely appreciated). It's a haven of tranquility from which we enjoyed runs on trails, lounging in the pool, and meals in the summer kitchen as we watched the sunset. A saltwater pool uses the process of electrolysis to purify the water instead adding chlorine. Detour: travel guides and stories
