Kind regards Koney Canyon village per se is not a bad place where to stay: good pool, landscape, quite close to fish river canyon (which however in summer is mostly dry) and great service. Even with COVID restrictions (mainly no showers and no visitor center) and the closure of the Tower to Canyon Village road for construction the campground at Canyon Village could not have worked out better. The drives to different areas of interest are long enough without adding additional miles and time to get into the park from any of the entrances.

We reserved a site for our big tent B37 and there was a flat spot for a very little tent and the rest of the site was sideways and downhill. They were transported to the lodge on the back of a staff pick-up truck and allowed to bring their own crate with alcoholic beverages to the lodge swimming pool. The prices are way too high for what the rooms have to offer. Very very friendly smiling staff. The canyon rim is only 45 miles from our campground on the beautiful North Rim Parkway.
