The site is near the very small Bez river and not far from the interesting and ancient small town of Die, the home of the famous Clairette de Die – a sparkling wine mentioned in dispatches by the Romans around 40AD. At the centre of the site is an attractive lake of 2.5 hectares with warm, clean water fed by springs, making it ideal for swimming and fishing.
Villard-de-Lans is 44 km from the camping, while Die is 10 km away.
