There is much emotion here, but none of it feels cynical or contrived.

It was worth seeing but I didn't feel it had the emotional impact of other films covering events in the civil rights movement.

I had viewed it before and is one of my most favourite movies.

I would personally err towards rating it a 3.5, but I didn't find it warranting 3, so I've rounded up to 4.

Take Shelter, Mud and Midnight special all got bigger and bigger, though they remained small movies with careful pacing.
