This hotel is basic, but adequate if you don't mind hard beds, mediocre food, miserable staff and unkept rooms/walkways/fixtures.

It was a minor miracle that I did not break my leg or back. Cosy lounge area with log fire. Suède. Unfortunately, upon arriving and moving into our mezzanine room on the top floor of the adjacent hotel building, I slipped down the varnished wooden stairs in our room, falling 12ft because the handrail was inadequate and moved as I fell. Own or manage this property? FIS 1983.

This place was warm and inviting. The weird thing was none of the staff spoke to me.

Varnished slats, over-steep and to not have securely fastened handrails is very dangerous. The noise at night was very strange. Equipe de France de Ski de Vitesse .
