There are several travel choices to get here: only 5 mins from the A10 motorway; 7 hours from Calais, 4-5 hours from Caen, or just 1 hour from La Rochelle airport. Would definitely recommend if it's not too busy.

You need a car but it's fabulous to be able to tour this area - great skiing, fabulous restaurant and the restaurant manager is lovely and helps with our French. The staff were absolutely fantastic - went above and beyond to try and accommodate us, even giving us a lift back down to the lift station.
