I figured the characters would be more fleshed out and you would learn more about Mark Ruffalo's character, but the whole back story was different and not nearly as engaging. The story was dull, the conversations were mostly one-sided and not engaging, and the characters weren't realistic. The story is original but from a literary point of view, Marc Levy's style is that of a 12 year old.
