A very interesting and enjoyable deckbuilding dungeon crawlerI want to give this a higher star count, but I was missing some of the cards. The artwork really let us feel like we were part of the Thunderstone world. Over the course of the game, cards will be added and removed from the player’s deck. The initial setup took some time. Disappointed this version does not state it is the retail version and the pictures show white dice with markings on them. But my guess is that 10 or 11+ would be an acceptable age range for this game. Plus with the quests you get more variety.

Upon opening the box, the game board had some type of adhesive (or something similar) that made some of the board rip off. Un jeu pour aventuriers téméraires sans nul doute. It took extra time to figure out how everything worked and make sure we were doing everything correctly. I have not tried playing it with my kids. Even if you play a normal game, not a story quest, you are still on an adventure. It is fun, but not worth the cost when you don’t get the full product.

You will want to recruit the best warriors and make sure you have all the supplies that you will need as you start to delve into the dungeons and earn glory for yourself. That’s the game in a nutshell but there is so much more than that.
